I can’t believe the indoor season is done for half of our Fusion teams and will come to a complete end this coming weekend when our 3 Red teams travel one last time to Myrtle Beach for the Myrtle Madness tournament. A BIG thank you to everyone as we navigated through the crazy waters of Covid and all the quarantines, hand sanitizer, mask, tournament rules, etc. that came with it. I appreciate all the hard work by our Fusion coaches to keep everyone safe while teaching and having some fun along the way.
We had some great success from all of our teams, with many medaling throughout their travel schedule. Even if it wasn’t in the form of medals at each tournament, we had tremendous growth individually with players and as teams. Our hope is to bring more skills and focused training back next season as restrictions subside and ramp up what we can offer during our set practice times.
Look for information coming in a few weeks about our Fusion sand program that will start in May. Before you know it we will be ready for Club tryouts again. Hopefully life will return somewhat to normal by that time and our Club season can start with no restrictions. Again, thanks for all the great players and families Fusion had this season and we look forward to seeing everyone again soon.
